The A/C "Thermostat"To operate the A/C, move the System switch from “OFF” to “COOL”Note: Heat is disabled.To adjust the “Set At”temperature use the “+” and “-”arrows on the right side of thepanel.When the “Room” temperatureand the “Set At” temperaturematch, the compressor, andcondenser fans will cycle off.To operate the Fan inside theEvaporator, switch the “FAN”from “AUTO” to “ON” dependingon preference.When the Fan is set to AUTO, itwill cycle on and off with thecompressor. If it is set to “ON”the Fan will remain on even ifthe compressor is not running.NOTE: A printable A/C quickguide is available for downloadin the class files.
The A/C Unit“Evaporator”
The Evaporator features abrushless blower motor.When turning on the Fan fromthe A/C control panel it willtake several seconds to rampup in speed.The dial is fully variable speedfor a variety of airflow options.The Evaporator Fanrecirculates the air within thesalon area.The Evaporator is the primarydehumidifier within the salon.
The A/C"Compressor"
The electric A/C Compressoris located in the Equipmentarea on the passenger side ofthe vehicle behind theHairVac.When first powered on it startsat a low hum and will rev up tofull speed before it levels off.To the left of the compressoris the A/C circuit breaker. Ayellow arm pops out in theevent of an A/C poweroverload.
The A/C "Condenser Fans"
The Condenser Fans arelocated on the passenger sideof the vehicle underneath thesliding door.These Condenser fans are60% larger than on theStandard Conversion.They feature “D” rings thatallow the condenser fanassembly to be dropped downon one side for easier cleaningand maintenance.
