How to check and change your Inverter settings.
This video demonstrates how to access the settings for your Inverter, what those settings should be, and how to change them if they're wrong:
The Inverter Display Panel is located above the driver's side door. If the screen isn't lit, press the "Func" button on the panel. Continue to press the "Func" button until the display shows "System Status" in the upper lefthand corner.
Press the "Enter" button to access the menu. Use the down arrow to select "FSW3012 00" and press "Enter" again. Use the down arrow to scroll all the way to the bottom of the menu to select "Basic Settings" and hit "Enter" again.
Once you're on the "FSW3012 00: Basic" screen, scroll down through the settings to confirm that they match the following:
Batt Type [Flooded]
Batt Capacity [880Ah]
Max Chg Rate [55%]*
Charge Cycle [3Stage]
ReCharge Volts [12.5V]
AC In Breaker [10.0A]**
Low Batt Cut Out [10.0V]
*If this displays any value between 55% and 60% upon inspection, do not adjust this value.
**If your van did not come with an Inline Tank Warmer, this should be set to 15.0A. This will only apply to vans built prior to 2018.
If any of these settings does not match what is demonstrated in this video, use the arrow buttons to select the faulty setting, press "Enter", and use the arrow buttons to adjust the setting until it matches what we show here.
To save a setting adjustment, it's important that you press "Enter" and not "Func" when you're ready to move on.
Once all the settings on your Inverter Display Panel have been confirmed, press the "Func" button until you arrive back at the "System Status" screen.
You should only ever do this if you've been instructed to do so by a Hanvey representative or if you suspect that a faulty setting could be causing a problem in your van's power. If you need further assistance on this topic, please call our office line at 864-269-2912.
