Electric A/C

The A/C "Thermostat"
To operate the A/C, move the System switch from “OFF” to “COOL”
Note: Heat is disabled.
To adjust the “Set At”
temperature use the “+” and “-”
arrows on the right side of the
panel.
When the “Room” temperature
and the “Set At” temperature
match, the compressor, and
condenser fans will cycle off.
To operate the Fan inside the
Evaporator, switch the “FAN”
from “AUTO” to “ON” depending
on preference.
When the Fan is set to AUTO, it
will cycle on and off with the
compressor. If it is set to “ON”
the Fan will remain on even if
the compressor is not running.
NOTE: A printable A/C quick
guide is available for download
in the class files.

The A/C Unit “Evaporator”

The Evaporator features a
brushless blower motor.
When turning on the Fan from
the A/C control panel it will
take several seconds to ramp
up in speed.
The dial is fully variable speed
for a variety of airflow options.
The Evaporator Fan
recirculates the air within the
salon area.
The Evaporator is the primary
dehumidifier within the salon.

The A/C "Compressor"

The electric A/C Compressor
is located in the Equipment
area on the passenger side of
the vehicle behind the
HairVac.
When first powered on it starts
at a low hum and will rev up to
full speed before it levels off.
To the left of the compressor
is the A/C circuit breaker. A
yellow arm pops out in the
event of an A/C power
overload.

The A/C "Condenser Fans"

The Condenser Fans are
located on the passenger side
of the vehicle underneath the
sliding door.
These Condenser fans are
60% larger than on the
Standard Conversion.
They feature “D” rings that
allow the condenser fan
assembly to be dropped down
on one side for easier cleaning
and maintenance.
