Battery Water Fill
This video demonstrates how to properly fill the distilled water levels on your van's batteries when the indicator shows it's needed.
On the front of the Battery Bank box, you'll find a black siphon pump with clear tubing.
This is what you'll use to put distilled water into the battery caps if needed.
Simply drop the long clear tube with the weights on the end down into a gallon of distilled water and follow the instructions below.
Important Note: Only use distilled water for this process!
You can find distilled water at any pharmacy or grocery store.
Any other kind of water can be harmful to your batteries.
Start at one end of the Battery Bank and remove the black rubber topper from the fill port on the orange cap.
Place the rubber topper outside of the Battery Bank box to avoid losing it between the batteries.
Attach the short clear tube on the siphon pump to the fill port on the battery cap. If the battery cap feels loose, take a moment and tighten it up.
To pump the water into the batteries, squeeze the black pump four times to prime and another four times to work the water into the batteries.
As you do this, watch the indicator and stop pumping once the red bobber reaches the black ring.
Repeat this process on every battery cap, moving the rubber topper from the cap you're about to fill to the cap you just finished filling until you're on the last cap.
Put the rubber topper from the first cap onto the last one when you're done.
At the end of this process, close up the Battery Bank box and squeeze the remaining distilled water back into the distilled water jug.
Roll up the siphon pump hoses and put them back on the front of the box where you found them.
You should only perform this maintenance when one or more of the red bobbers on the battery cap indicators is below the minimum level.
